Job description:
Works autonomously and acts as a senior manager providing professional advice, managing and coordinating a technical area. Leads the technical area within Quality Engineering programmes using available frameworks and tools and establishing project plans with on-time and on-budget goals.
Job responsibilites:
- Works and co-ordinates with Project Manager, Lead Architect and Delivery Manager against NFT service criteria
- Reviews and contributes to the scope, NFR assessment, test design, estimates and closure artefacts
- Manages, leads & co-ordinates actions on test domain with support of Lead Architect
- Creates and delivers NFT Plan, Strategy and in relation to the Project Plan, the NFT process, criteria, templates, tools and standards
- Provide escalation support and quality assurance check during KANBAN
- Reviews, leads & co-ordinates pre-requisites, dependencies, estimates, test design, execution and reporting
- Collaboratively manages the service partners and vendors to deliver projects to high quality and on time
- Provides key stakeholder management with objective view in a multi-vendor, multi-test discipline environment
- Manages the test life cycle and co-ordinates Test Leads and Testers both onshore and offshore
Job qualifications:
- Additional course or certification in Quality Engineering or IT Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, preferred

Job experience:
- Experience in leading an programme of several NFT projects through all phases
- Experience in managing upwards with multiple people, gaining their trust quickly
- Experience in managing a team and coordinating time and budget
- Good people skills, with experience of introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other
- Encourages mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions

- Good applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge with practical experience of engineering/development tools and platforms required to deliver
- Solid understanding with respect to non-functional test specification, analysis and design, implementation and system integration, execution as well as results evaluation, problem resolution and planning
- Experience in designing, coding, testing and correcting scripts from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result
- Experience in implementing robust error handling and clear/consistent reporting functionality
- Knowledge of relevant testing tools in NFT and test automation: LoadRunner/StormRunner/Performance Center, JMeter, MSVS, Borland Silk Performer, NeoLoad, Gatling, LoadUI, ALM, Dynatrace, Wireshark, SiteScope, OWASP, Cucumber or Selenium
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
- Strong knowledge of MQ, IBM servers and applications, as well as Oracle DB
- Exposure to Test Management tools such as JIRA or ALM
